The other one is a 2 part component that forms a plastic layer and does not mix with the concrete, it goes over it.

We bought a home with a tiled pool and have been in it since February (The house that is, not the pool ).

One thing I have wondered is in the Pool math app, do I select Plaster, Vinyl or Fiberglass? There is no option of tiled so I chose Plaster. Not sure if it makes any difference really.

Thoughts? I imagine it was very expensive at the time to have it done but it looks amazing and I certainly haven't come across any negatives


Are all of your tiles the same ? Are the tiles on the step the same as the wall or are the "textured" or "non slip" in some way ???

All the tiles are the same, there are none that are non-slip. This hasn't been an issue so far, nobody has slipped over
