This shows my ignorance but when you install a thru wall skimmer do you have to cut the actual wall of the pool as well as the liner?
Also,
I would love a good website (with video) to assist in installing a steel wall above ground pool...

Did you buy the steel wall pool already? Manufacturer may have a video tutorial. There are also a ton to choose from on YouTube. You may have to watch several.
