through wall heat pump vent

I would like to get a pool heater, but my equipment is in the basement (about 2700 sq ft basement). The basement is also used as a gym, and so I am worried that a natural gas heater would make it too hot down there. Heat pump that vents outside would actually be nice because it might incidentally cool my basement and first floor a little as well I have seen that this Through wall vent is available in Europe. Do we have anything like that in the U.S.?

If the basement is in the conditioned space (which it appears that it is) then you'll be drawing conditioned air through the HP to the outside if you vent it outside. I would look at installing a gas heater outside and routing the plumbing to it.
