Perhaps it’s new plaster as I am only (100) days in but I don’t recall my prior pool being this finicky.
Basically trying to keep CSI under 0. This journey means adding frequent acid to lower PH which in turn lowers TA. Seem the pool likes to drift up PH to 7.8 from 7.3 in about 1-2 days. 7.3 PH gives me a CSI around -0.38 depending on water temp. This was fine as TA went from 90 to now 50.
So this morning TA 50, PH 7.8, CSI is like -0.7. So I add acid to get PH to 7.5 which gave me a CSI of -0.35. All good, but if my TA continues to drop then I need to add baking soda to bring it back up and start over again?
Is this normal to have to chase this on a almost daily basis?
