With very little effort, it looks like the pool is filled with gin (once the trees stop dropping leaves)

But the water is 53 degrees.

If it weren't for the depression of the deep end, the drain looks like it's in 2 ft of water. Very nice.

Yep. It always looks just perfect once the temp dips into the 50's. But all I can do is look at it.

I hear ya, I've looked for one of those hooks as every time I went to do it last summer (first time pool owner) I swear brown recluse spiders were ready to pounce. My son kept saying, "Dad those are recluse spiders!!". Whatever they were they were always looking aggressive. LOL, haven't gotten bit but made me think, get one of those pull thingy bobs! HA

A pool filled with Hendrick's or even better- Monkey 47- would be my own personal nirvana.
