Test kit just came in and I anxiously did my first round of testing and made 1 addition to the water. Here is what I got and what I added, am I going in the right direction??
Definitely in the right direction! I would get the pH down in the 7s. Salt pools seem to like 7.8. Bump it back to 7.6. Wouldn't worry about TA if the pH is stable.
Yep, going in the right direction! In addition to lowering ph, you will need to raise CYA to about 70, but do it in increments, allowing a day or so between additions, so you don’t overshoot.
