I received my TF-pro kit earlier this week. Just need to confirm this is correct

I have a blank mixing bottle with a red cap. This has no marks or volume indicators on it.

Per the instructions I mix 7.5ml of pool water and another 7.5 ml of r-0013 stir, sit, shake and test.

I want to mark the mixing bottle at 7.5 and 15 but wanted to make sure this procedure is correct.

Your mixing bottle with the red cap should have both a 7.5ml and 15ml marking. Not sure why it doesn’t.

Thanks. In the meantime I wanted to run these numbers by the group

I have spent the past two days refreshing my water to bring my CYA down from 90. I’m sitting at 50 currently without a pool dump

TA 120
PH 7.7
FC 2.5
CC .5
TC 3

I know I have to bring my FC up and my TA down per pool math. I was fighting some algae spots popping up but oddly (maybe not) as the CYA decreased the Algae started clearing up? It could’ve been my submersible sucking it out but I’ll know tomorrow morning.

Any additional thoughts or suggestions? This forum has been immensely helpful

Can you fill out your signature so that anyone trying to offer assistance knows what you have?

Also, no need to jot down your “total chlorine”. At TFP, FC and CC are all that’s needed.

At a CYA of 50, your FC range is 6-8ppm with the bare minimum of 4ppm so you need to dump some LC into that pool! Make sure you understand the FC/CYA relationship.

Thank you. This signature thing is killing me. All my info is in there. It’s not populating for some reason

Your signature is there. It does not show on smartphones in portrait mode. Try turning your phone sideways to landscape mode.
Well, I learn something new every day LOL! Thanks Rancho and my apologies Roc.

Don’t think there’s anything magic about 7.5 and 15.0. Just mix it 50/50.
Not sure why you quoted me on this...didn't mention anything about the markings being magical. I simply stated my bottle has markings of 7.5 and 15mL. I'd prefer the markings/lines for accuracy. Obviously it's a 50/50 mix...just gonna eye ball it and call it good?
