TF-100 test kit, how handle unexpected color change

We have the TF-100 test kit and just started using it, have a lab type electric stir magnet too.

When testing for FC we got 16 drops until it turned clear, so FC = 8.
Then as I was reading about the next test, the magnetic stir was still on, after about a minute I notice it turned back to pink.
So I added +3 drops and it was clear again.

So is the FC 8 or 9.5?

Is the test completed when it first turns clear, or when it stays clear. And how to you do the CC test if it had turned pink?

Rob,

If you let it sit, it will go pink again. Stop counting when it initially turns clear.

Then immediately do the CC test.

You have to run the tests a few times to get the hang of it.
