I was given a free Taylor Kit 2006 which was great because I'm running low on my agents from my TFP kit.

I was wondering if there is an explanation of why there's a difference in the results or maybe my TFP kit agents have expired.

When testing TA I got the following results.
TFP - 70
Tay - 90

When testing CYA I got the following results.
TFP - 50
Tay - 70

Both output numbers are consistent.

My TFP kit will be a year old and the Taylor agents are expiring later this year or beginning of next year. The agents on my TFP does not have a expiration date.

My last question is is with regard to CYA. Can I use my TFP agent R-0013 with the measuring vial and bottle from the Taylor kit?

Thank you.

On the other ?’s not sure about the disparity as they are all Taylor reagents
Maybe one kit has had exposure to the elements?
As for using the r-0014 w/ the k2006 comparator - that’s a no -
the reagent for that is R-0004 - they are different for a reason I would assume
