Test Kits for Over the Pond? (UK)

Hi All,

Been looking hard for a FAS-DPD Chlorine kit for use during SLAM. (have a Palintest 6 but it wont go above 10ppm on the DPD Test)

Any recommendations, cant get taylors kits over here or they are like £200 for the non-commercial kit.... Ouch!

Just looking for a reagent supplier at reasonable cost, i can build the rest of the kit myself pretty much.

@HarrisonHRG This is currently your best bet - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004BGF7TI/ - it's the "smaller" Taylor kit that's normally recommended around here. You can buy refills for the main tests you'll use up from Amazon.com. It's a slight gamble on what the expiry date is going to be buying these from Amazon but there aren't any other good options.

Yeah its just extremely expensive, thinking of importing one from the states as its actually cheaper on the basis of what you get - there is also a company called DTK Water - who sell kits direct to the UK.

You get a kit solely for free chlorine which is 0-300PPM with a large bottle of the Titrant required. It is £160 inc vat delivered but works out cheaper for me as i just need >10 ppm FC for SLAM process.

I have all other test scopes on my Palintest 6 kit. it just doesnt do above 10ppm and the dilution method is notoriously unreliable.

If it aint broke dont fix it comes to mind with the current plan...
