Test Kit in UK???

Hi

I've spent hours and hours reading up on how to best maintain my new HotTub. Thank you for all the info here. It's amazingly helpful!

So now I'm after a decent test kit but I live in the U.K. I've searched high and low and can't find any of the recommend kits available in this country! Weird.

I contacted Sword Scientific to ask about the Lamotte FAS-DPD Commercial 7 Test Kit (Code 7022 availability. They've replied this morning saying it's on hold due to not meeting some eu standards or something.

He suggested the ColorQ range instead. Are these any good? From what I've read they can be temperamental. I prefer the sound of the drop tests, again from what I've read on this forum.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to getting one of the recommended test kits shipped to me please? There must be other people in the uk that wants to have decent spa & pool water!!

It can certainly be a challenge for those of us outside the USA! Welcome to TFP and good to have you here

I used poolvacparts to get a Taylor K-2006C and they were reliable and quick.

Thankfully, we now have a great supplier here in Aus making a kit based on Taylor reagents, ClearChoiceLabs in Queensland. Not much help to you!

In any event, do all you can to get FAS-DPD for FC testing, and the CYA test. I hope you can get a K-2006C or equivalent.
