Test after opening salt pool

Sounds good. Tomorrow afternoon will give you a better gauge for what's going on. Unless it pours again. Its been doing it since Friday, so no promises there.

How far did the FC drop ?

FC is now at 17. Looks like its dropping 1 a day. Not super fast but its cloudy, cold and rainy in NJ…
PH stays at 7.5-7.8

Ignore the Ph at 10+ FC. If you're in the right color range its probably right, but i wouldn't dose from it. 10+ FC often causes false highs and turns the sample off the charts purplish.

Salt, calcium and cya are pretty stubborn. Maybe thats why I understand them. I dunno. :ROFLMAO:

But yeah. Not saying they can't mix quicker after adding / rain / winter, just that they might take a day to disperse. Never trust them until they've had their time just in case. None of the 3 comes out easy but it's super easy to add more in a couple days if need be. You'd really, really, rather add more in a couple days than have to take it out.

Hi again. So Fc is dropping fast, now at 9. CYA looks like is at 35, quite low. Should i add stabilizer and if so what kind? Or just wait? Also, should i turn back on SWCG at this point at 10-20?
Thanks

Leave the CYA. Always round up to the next 10. Your CYA is 40.
Yes, turn your SWG on.
High enough that you can maintain your FC for your CYA. Link-->FC/CYA Levels
I'd leave your CYA at 40, until you can reliably maintain your FC. Once you get experience doing that, then raise CYA.
