Is this rock brown aberdeen? What coping is this? I am using aberdeen for my pool and can't decide on coping!
We installed a techo-bloc patio in April of 2019. Some of our pavers are already deteriorating!! One has a hole the size of a quarter. Very disappointing after paying a premium for upgrading. I hope everyone else has a better experience with this manufacturer.
Apologies for the delayed response! I just noticed you had asked a question. Yes, this is rock brown aberdeen and the coping is natural limestone. I struggled big time trying to find anything that looks as good as Limestone. the only drawback is the the price.
That is hugely disappointing to hear. Who was your installer and what are they saying? Have they contacted the manufacturer on your behalf?
Hi folks, Just searching for similar issues to those I have had with the Aberdeen patio pavers. We installed the Azurro color and are not happy with the discoloration that has already occured since they were installed a year ago. 1300 sq. feet of patio with the Bullnose grande coping. We contacted Techo Bloc late last summer and they said it was efflorescence. That it should be all gone after 12 months. Now we have a patio that we paid way too much for that looks like stamped concrete. Needless to say not happy with the result. What can you do at this point? Any similar experiences? ZoeA, You should be able to get a refund or replacement for slabs that are wearing away...
I used Aberdeen rock garden brown and did their Piedmonte coping in same color. We like how the RGB color is more of a gray than a brown so you have to be aware of that when deciding. We did not put any seal on ours, just completed install about a month ago.
