So with tfp there is an importance to the fc/cya relationship. I’m confused though. We bought the t-100 kit on the tfp site and it says to test the total chlorine daily with the blue box kits k-1000. It also says tc should be at least 2 ppm. That seems low since fc starts at 3 ppm on the cya/fc chart. What are we not understanding? And shouldnt we be testing the fc daily?

Follow the above. I suggest at the start that you use the FAS-DPD test (R0870 and R0871) every day for awhile. Once you learn your pool, then you can slow down on testing and use the OTO (blue box) for TC as a check.
