I use it for everything including the CYA test. I've even considered stirring my coffee with it! :-D

And you know what else you can use it as? ... a timer.
Some tests require you to wait a minute or two after adding reagents, just turn the thing on (with its backlight on) - it'll shutdown after exactly 1 minute. Repeat as necessary.
Very handy if your timer from the dollar-store refuses to work right now when you need it (which of course never ever happens ...)
