I'm new to TFP, but very experienced as a pool owner. I bought my home (In the Atlanta suburbs in 1977 and with it came a 20 x 40 Concrete pool. I have refurbished it 2 or 3 times (after 47 years, who can remember the small details?) The pool has a 3 HP multistage Pentair pump, a Circupool RJ -45-PLUS Chlorine Generator and a Circupoolm (Made by Poolsmith) PH Control system. I have had the later for 5 years and it imake controlling the increase in PH inherent in any salt system easier to control without the constant adding of Muriatic Acid. There is a lot of BS on the internet about this system causing an increase in Total Alkalinity, but it's totally not true. We have a beach home in Hilton Head and go there for a week or two when it's not rented. The CO2 system makes it possible to ignore the PH for several weeks with no worry. I know I should like a commercial for the CO2 system, but after 5 years I'm still a fan of it. The only worry is finding a reasonably priced for CO2 near home. My pool is 36,000 gallons, so uses more CO2 than most pools. In was fortunate to find a company a few miles from home that handles a variety of gases and I pay a lot less to them for CO2 than others I have surveyed. The pool has a Pebble Tech type of finish and is about 5 years old and I love it. Sorry for the run on, but I get excited about products I have discovered that make living with a pool much easier.
