Hi pool people! I have a TA of 130. My pool is chlorine 17,000 gal. I can’t figure out how much muriatic acid to add. I shocked my pool five hours ago…when is it safe to add muriatic acid? TIA.

Maintain pH in the 7's and the TA will fall.
You can add acid 15 minutes after adding liquid chlorine, pump running.
