I’m hoping someone can help. I had to drain my saltwater pool and start over. Everything is where I need it but my ta is 120.

I’ve brought the ph down to 7.2 and ran the waterfall for 24 hours bringing it up to 7.6 twice now and ta hasn’t budged.

Anything else I should try?

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum!
If you live in Southern Cal a TA of 120 is likely what your fill water is. So just manage your pH in the 7's and the TA will come down slowly. No real need to push it unless you are having some issues. When pH reaches 7.8/8, lower it to 7.2. The TA will come down.
I suggest you read through Pool Care Basics - Trouble Free Pool and even look at a few of our videos TFP-TV - Trouble Free Pool

Pb,

It takes me about two days to drop my TA from about 120 to 50 ppm. This is with constant waterfall operation and dosing every two or three hours. From sun up to sun down..

It is not a one and done kind of thing.

Thanks,

Jim R.
