Hey everybody it’s been a while since I’ve been on here and I’ve had a move recently and my new home came with a pool with a system 2 DE filter. I started opening the pool and fired up the filter and loaded it with the E I didn’t notice much of a pressure change however the next day I did notice it went up 5 pounds and I was losing significant amount of flow. Oh I went to backwash it and I honestly don’t know what to do it doesn’t look like there’s a backwash valve and I saw certain the filters it looks like can’t take a powered backwash? I’m just wondering if anybody knows anything about this and if I have to disassemble the filter and clean it manually or if I can just backwash it and how I would do it without a backwash valve installed

Thanks beta, i saw that too, i actually see you dont backwash these filters you treat them as a cartridge, i guess its easier? Idk ill certainly find out i guess lol.. thank you for your help !
