Like the title says, I'm trying to switch away from the old timer, the motor's broken and I'm tired of having to turn it on manually. I have a 1.65 HP motor, a heater, and an in-pool light.
Important note, I don't know the exact model that the old timer is, so if anyone knows if it's 120v or 240v, that would be critical information.
The heaters wires are the ones coming in from the left side, and go straight back down, so if i'm not mistaken it's not controller by the T104M? And the wires for the pool light and a secondary on/off switch that I think controls power to the heater come through the bottom or back, not sure, so the skinny red/blue wires go from heater -> switches behind the timer box, and the bottom left knockouts have wires coming in for that in-pool light as well. I'm not 100% sure about any of this, so take it with a grain of salt.
Either way, after reading up on it, i'm pretty sure I can just transfer my wiring from
1 to COM1
2 to NO1
3 to COM2
and
4 to NO2
and then I just
Jumper COM1 to AC input L1
and
Jumper COM2 to N/L2?
I'm just looking for confirmation, or clarification, because I truly do not understand anything about electricity, I'm a software through-and-through kind of guy
I would appreciate any form of help I could get, and thanks in advance!
I'm also adding a full picture if that helps you see things a bit better:
