Swim lane rope anchors how to imstall help asap

So I bought this style thinking it would be super strong. I have a 12 inch thick wall they are spraying tomorrow... i was going to wet set them in the wall and leave 7/16 of space for tile to slide behind. Is this o.k.? Leaks? Thank in advance from a first time pool builder. Im a general contractor having fun in my own yard...

As far as I know, granted never installed them, looks like they are designed to go through the wall and the washer and nut on the back are then put on. Is that rod longer than 12"?

Yah it is 10 inches long and def made for a wall through bolt... the cup style didn't seem that strong so I bought these, then I noticed they were made for a wall style.. haha. My walls are pretty thick so I'm ok that way.
