Swim jet repairs

The pool inspector I hired before I bought the pool told me the swim jet was broke and I should plaster it in

he was wrong and today I spruced it up with some parts from speck pumps

It lasted about 15 years

mine is older version of this Jet

no idea - its a spek pump Badu jet - BIG pipe, big pump
I pic from today with the previous cover back off

The water goes back to the pump through the cut on the bottom
