SWG Scaling

I am having to clean off the plates every 36-48 HOURS. SWG is NOT producing or helping maintain the chlorine levels for this heat. Algae gone, done with slamming, but might as well unplug SWG and go straight chlorine chemical pool! UGH

Test results past two days:
What am I missing?

TC - 2
Ph - 8 - lowering now with muriatic acid. I typically add every 5 days or so this time of year.
TA - 150
CH - 160
CYA - 60

Any thoughts for scaling this fast?? Best options for dealing with August?

The first thing that jumps out at me is TC.... How much of that is FC? And even if it's all FC, a FC of 2ppm is too low and is below the safe minimum for a CYA of 60ppm ( [FC/CYA][/FC/CYA] ). You most likely have the beginning of another algae bloom happening and the SWG can't make the chlorine fast enough. For all we know your FC could be zero, and your CC's be 2ppm.

Assuming a Salt level of 3000ppm, and a water temp of 86 deg, your CSI is slightly positive, which will make the pool more susceptible to calcium scaling.

Keeping pH at 7.4 to 7.6 will move you onto the negative side of CSI.

If you lower your TA to below 100ppm, your CSI will go more negative as well.
