SWG - no chlorine

I bought a rebuilt T-15 from Salt Solutions. As soon as the weather got cold, no chlorine. Store tested salt at 3630 PPM. Computer says salt is low and won't turn on unit. Guy at Leslie's says they often don't work in cold water. Well, my last one did! What steps should I take to troubleshoot this? Pool temp around 60F.

Hayward Aquarite.

• The cell output reduces to 20% at 60°F and below if % is above 20%
• The cell shuts off when water temperature at 50F and below
• LCD displays COLD when water temperature is below 50F

Colder temperatures cause salinity results to fall. Have you checked the salinity with a proper test kit?

Yes. 3630 @leslies, slightly higher on my kit.

Our Intellichlor will not produce at low temperatures either.
