Swg current sensing relay

I accidentally bought a 240v relay from grainger instead of the 120. Both my pump and swg are 120. Of course I could send it back and wait for a new one. Or run a 240v line out to the pool house.
But since the relay only senses one leg of the 240, I’m wondering why I can’t just use it anyway.
Thoughts? Thanks!

Sensing the current is one thing, power supply is another. The relay you bought, if it’s not self powered by the induction current, may need 240V to work.
