SWG before or after filter?

Just a note: The bonding lug on the SWG is on the controller not the cell. It'll be on the backplate bottom right hand side. See This thread for a picture of it.

hmmm.... I forgot about this and did not ask the code enforcement guy. I was just poking about and found a big ole copper lug on the bottom of the SWG power supply. Empty.

I assume this is a bonding point (not grounding?) and that I can just splice it onto the wire that bonds the pump?

That is correct. Just use a proper bonding lug or split bolt to do the splice.
