I usually backwash right into my lawn. I’ve recently installed a SWG, will backwashing now with the salt water cause harm to my lawn?

In most cases it will not harm your lawn... But it really depends on how often you backwash..
For some reason, a lot of sand filter owners think they need to backwash once a week.. If you fall into that group, I would try to mend your ways..

In my case, the pool was recently opened for the season and the there were a lot of particles that were clogging the filter, I noticed almost no water coming back thru the returns just after 24 hours after backwashing. Later in the season, I backwash maybe once every two weeks.
Any suggestions for a remote monitoring solution for the SWG? I was told Pro-Logic Controller works well with my Hayward Aquarite.
