Flow meters are a gadget for digital natives obsessed with knowing numbers.

Nothing you do with your pool equipment needs a precise flow number. Analog methods can be used to set your flow.

And the analog method is?
I just want to dial in my pump run time and want to know the flow rates for turn over. Right now I run 12 hrs at 2800 RPM.

Turnover is a myth and has no relevance. Read Turnover of Pool Water - Further Reading

For your pump runtime you run your pump for a purpose. Chlorinate your pool, filter the water, skim the water. After that it is personal preference.

I run my pump 24/7 at low speed to always be circulating water and generating chlorine.
