My test kit reading is 2600 and the salt cell is reading 3400. It's a brand new cell. Since it doesn't have a low salt indicator, can I leave it as is without adding salt or should I bring it up to the 3000 recommended by the manufacturer. It's a Jandy Aquapure SWCG. I would prefer to leave it as is if I could. It's producing chlorine without any issues.

I find often that my salt test kit (taylot) salt test strips, and swcg readings vary. My swcg does not offer a calibration and I'm not sure who I would believe any way. What I have found is that if the light on the SWCG is green and it is happy it is usually working, so I would leave it alone. If I found it working longer than expected or had trouble maintaing fc and my test kit were showing a low salt then I would add some incrementally.
