Swapping Hayward supervision fiber optics for pentair microbright

Anyone have any first hand experience removing the small fiber optic fixtures and what they actually look like? I’m curious if I can do it myself but don’t want to just tear into it without an idea if it’s even possible to replace them with something like a microbright. I’m gearing up for a replaster and the contractor wants lots of $$ to replace those two lights.
