Hi,

I had a single speed pump controlled by an Intermatic P1353ME 3-circuit with a fireman's wire to the Raypak. The Intermatic has a timed cooldown function that's (was) reasonably fool proof. How can I do this with a recently upgraded Superflow VS? There's not much documentation out there on this topic. I think I can manually time the Intermatic against the RPM/time programming on the VS but I don't think I should trust that. Can it signal from the COM port on the VS or would reliance on the heaters pressure switch be a decent enough redundancy? Is there a smart or proper way to do this?

Thanks,
Patrick

That is what most folks do.

No, that will not work.

Not recommended and unsafe.

You might use a current sensing relay....
