Super fine mesh pool skimmer?

Alone have a suggestion for a super fine mesh? I have gnats like crazy in my pool and my pool skimmer just goes right over them.

You can stretch one of those cheapo polyspun hair nets or a panty hose over one.

I bought one on amazon. It has a light blue rim. Ultra fine mesh it said. It was like 40 dollars. Picks up everything! Pollen even. Gnats. Just a pain to shake out. I hit it with a hose.
