I bought and installed a Vevor mesh pool cover for my inground pool. One obstacle is a 1.5" diameter / 4" tall water feature stub up that is in the way of having it perfect. Can I cut a 2" circle out of the mesh portion or will that cause chaos? I've Googled to no avail and used the "contact us" form on their website with no response. Thought someone here may have experience with this.

These are cut and sewn from the maker. If you are familiar with sewing I don't see why you couldn't cut a notch/half-circle there and stitch/hem the edges like the other edges are.
