So I tried the Jack's #2

Some stains were lifting. A Jack's guy was gonna come out to help but he got delayed by the big storm in Houston and won't make it out until later this week or next

I got the pH and alkalinity right.
But it's holding no chlorine at all and cya is less than 30. I've even added some dichlor and I think it came up a little but not much. When I say no chlorine no CC either. I can't get any pink when I test.

I did put in polyquat
I don't want to drain any yet as the stains aren't gone and I want to see what the Jack's guy says.

What should I do about cya? Keep trying a little of dichlor? I'm stumped.

I still have the filter running 24 7 too.

Thanks for any tips,
I can't seem to find anything about cya post treatment

After using sulfamic acid to lift copper stains, it is best to drain the pool of that water and replace with fresh. This way you eliminate the copper from the water and the sulfamic acid. If not, the sulfamic acid will disrupt your FC testing for many months.
