Helllllo chuck!!! loosing pressure where I have the bonding wired wrapped between PVC and pipe.
im thinking re-pipe with a union so I can tighten good and snug???? Of course your suggestions would be appreciated thx!!!

Is that a gas line?

You aren't using PVC for gas piping are you?

I’m not. That ilwhite line is from existing gas line that city has allowed me to run black pipe from to new equipment pad. This work is permitted by my city. I posted the permit sheet up last month in this forum

I guess I don't understand the question then about loosing pressure at that fitting. Are you doing a pressure test for gas or water.

The best way to seal a threaded fitting that is leaking is to take it apart and clean the threads both male and female then reapply sealant and retighten the fitting.
