Stupid question- should AGP walls flex with waves

The answer is yes and no. This is always an issue with AGP’s. When your kids fool around on the pool, they create waves and those waves represent a lot of kinetic energy. That energy has to go somewhere and the walls will absorb it. Because the sheer stresses involved are significant, the pool wall does need to flex a little bit to help absorb the energy. Small movements are always possible and not problematic. However, if a large human being decided to do their epic triple-lindy reverse cyclone power canonball off the shed roof into your AGP, the resulting forces and flexing could likeky damage or collapse an AGP pool wall.

AGPs are really measly more for floating and relaxing than horsing around. But, only you can police the behavior of your kids and set safe limits.
