Stubborn green algae please help!

My husband and I can't get rid of the green algae settling on the bottom of the pool liner. The water is crystal clear and still has algae deposits when brushed or vacuumed are noticeably green.
Weekly testing done by leslie's pool everything is good including phosphates.
We used multiple algaecides, super chlorinated it, shocked, backwash filter multiple times. Turned partially brown, then white, then came back as green.
It is a 18x40 semi inground pool with two returns, one on each end. and one skimmer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Spend less than you have, once, on a reliable test kit. Test Kits Compared. The TF100 is the winner compared to the k2006 for the budget models, and the TFpro is the winner for the step up models. The TFpro also includes a $48 stirring device (you WANT) and a fancy case. But any of them will test the same and keep you out of the pool store for good.

Once you have your kit, we can advise what to do with it. You need to run an overnight test at sunset and sunrise and the pool store simply isn't open for it, besides them not being accurate.

If you don't lose chlorine overnight, it's whatever pollen like crud the environment is shedding. I'm on LI and have a bunch myself right now. But without a loss test, you don't know which it is and it could be a swamp waiting to explode.

We do things differently here so while whats “good” at the pool store may be good for them to sell products (like algeacides) at TFP we follow the
FC/CYA Levels
& What Are My Ideal Pool Levels?
For algae the prescription is to do the
SLAM Process with liquid chlorine.
It is not a one time shock or “super chlorination”
But a process in which you raise your pool to shock level (which is specific to your cya level) & MAINTAIN that shock level until you can prove algae has been eradicated by passing ALL 3 end of slam criteria -
You are done when:
CC is 0.5 or lower;
You pass an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test
AND
The water is clear.
(Crystal Clear w/no algae dead or alive)
To do this successfully you must have a kit at your disposal that contains the fas/dpd test & cya test along with all the others (ph,ch,ta).
The Taylor k2006/c & tf100/tfpro are the only ones that have all these tests.

Until your kit comes just add 5ppm worth of liquid chlorine each day - nothing else- to keep things from getting worse.
