Struggling with completing SLAM - Question

Been struggling to complete SLAM this year. Water is blue but not clear and has been that way over last few days. I can see shallow end bottom but not deep. I was able to use different vacuum yesterday which picked up several debris from bottom of deep end. Here is the question. I have the Pentair Superflo VS which is on a timer and does not run at full rpm all the time. During the SLAM do I need it running full speed until completion of SLAM?

Numbers below:

FC - 13
Cc - .5
Cya-25-30
TA-80
pH-7.4
CH-150

Thanks in advance

Hey VT !!! There are two halves of the battle. First is the death match where you have to kill any living organics, and then is the send off. Any crud needs to go asap as it will chew through your FC that is needed to treat the water. If it's just dirt and silt on the bottom from the winter, then it's not harming you, but if there is leaves and branches and whatnot decaying and full of bacteria, they need to go. Scooping and vacuuming blind is hard and tests everyone's patience, but stick to a set pattern and each attempt you'll get more out. I watched mine go green to cloudy blue with the last scoop of crud after Hail Mary scooping all day.

Once it's cloudy blue you have mostly killed the algae and need to filter it out. The 100 sg ft cartridge will need some babysitting, being cleaned everytime it raises 25% in psi. This is the stage that drags for most, and tests EVERYONE's patience. Rest assured you are not alone. Keep the FC up at this stage just because, but the FC will likely hold for a longer time and not need the 2-3 hour intervals like it did at the start.
