Strange Salt Cell Issue

so basically I am at a standstill until I can get this FC down to under 10,
To get a good PH reading, yes.

CYA can be addressed now, but there's no need in the dead of the winter for more UV protection.

Keep testing the Chlorine daily though?
Yes. But if you notice it's only dropping 1 ppm every other day (etc), then feel free to skip a reasonable amount of tests in between.

Okay thanks just want to make sure I am not missing anything. Considering it has not gone down the last two days I will probably wait a few days

Prove the flakes are/aren't calcium. (y)

Lowering the TA will need keeping tabs on the PH, which will have to wait for the FC, but it'll give you something to do. .😁

What are all readings?

What is the CSI?
I will test everything again. I only did the CYA today because I was unable to do it two days ago however, with my FC so high and unable to read pH I don’t know how I can get to the CSI. Let me run test again and I’ll post them here.

With the TA at 110, I think that you are safe to assume that the pH is probably about 7.8 and you can add some acid.

What is the water temperature and CSI assuming a pH of about 7.8?

You are OK to wait or you can add enough acid to lower the pH to about 7.4 or 7.5 to be conservative.
Okay well being new I guess waiting is better since I can’t see where the pH is with the FC so high. Just want to make sure everything else checks out.
