Storing pool chemicals

How and where do you store your pool chemicals. Acid in particular seems to affect other nearby objects. I’m thinking of getting a deck box, but not certain

I think chlorine is better stored inside the garage where it isn’t so hot

I store the acid in the garage, and the chlorine and test kit in a hall closet just inside the garage entrance. Chlorine is really sensitive to storage conditions.

Better watch that one. I made that mistake once (once) because everything metal rusted in a matter of weeks from the muriatic acid fumes. Instead, I store my acid outdoors in a plastic shed/container, away from pets and kid's access. Heat & cold outside won't bother it at all.
