hoping this forum can help me! I just had an inground spa constructed and chose stonescapes aqua white pebble with glass. Apparently the glass was “sprinkled” on top during the application process…not mixed in the actual bag. I imagine they do this to save money? Is this common practice? I ask because the glass beads are not spread uniform throughout and I can basically tell it was done by hand because there are some areas that are not blended well where i see clumps of the glass. My pool company is telling me that is how the glass is typically applied….however i am skeptical and feel like it should have been mixed in the bag first. Please advise!

That is how most plaster companies apply glass during the application.
It is an art of applying in a uniform manner.

Thank you for the reply. So for plaster it is applied by hand afterwards. Hmmm. Ok. Mine isn’t plaster finish but I guess that makes me feel a little better. Sorry for late reply, thought I was getting post notifications but I guess not.
