Just demo'd my pool I'm replacing, and they used Stone Dust on the bottom--and it held up well for over 30-years. I had planned to do grout bottom on this new build--but the Stone Dust has me thinking. I know it be easy to install on the bottom of the pool, but my only concern is the slopes. FYI--I only 6' deep end, so my slopes are not that sharp.
