Hey everyone. I'm back! Great news! Pool water is crystal clear!! Yay! I ended up putting the solar cover on and didn't touch it for almost a week. It seems as though a lot of the fine dirt particles fell to the bottom and I was able to do a solid vac job today. Very exciting stuff. Maybe I just needed to leave it alone for a bit...
On to another question. I tested the water today and everything is in a great position. The only question I have is this. Why do my hands feel dry when I'm done testing? Obviously my hands go into the pool to draw the water but they are dry afterwards. Is this a water condition issue or more of a personal skin care thing?? Any thoughts are welcome!!
What adding borates to the pool help the situation? I have never done that before. I added borates to my spa and now I sanitize it with bleach and I don't have anywhere near the problem of dry skin.
