Status Post SLAM FC not dropping

I developed mustard algae after returning from vacation and ignoring my pool. SLAM started 5 days ago, brushed everything, pool tools soaking in the pool, robot working overtime and hand vacuuming. Initial FC 44 ppm. SWG off. FC has been at 36 last 2 days. CC 0. OCLT no loss over night. Today was the first sunny day and there was no change in the FC.

FC 36
CC 0
OCLT no loss
TA 70
CH400
CYA 70
pH 7.8 difficult to test at this point w FC at 36
temp 58 F

Should I be concerned about the FC so high for so long or just wait it out?

Mc,

I would just wait it out, unless you want to go swimming in 58 degree water.. I can't see where it is going to hurt anything..

I use Liquid Chlorine in the winter, when my SWCG is off, and the FC seems to last two or three times as long as in the summer..

Thanks Jim. I did use liquid 6% for the SLAM.
