Starting pump for first time this year. Problems.

Hi.
Just started to open a few hours ago and my pump is not acting normal.

Everything was set to turn on the pump. I filled filter chamber with water. I turned it on and it just makes a noise. It seems to be a buzzing noise at the pump, i don't leave it on long enough to go over there to hear it closer. It does feel warm tot the touch. Is it clogged? there were no issues at closing., just normal closing. Not sure what to do, or whether i need to be ordering a new pump.

Likely frozen bearing or capacitor. Can you spin the motor, does it move freely?

Thank you for the reply. I think you were right. i needed to take it off the housing and manually soin it for a few minutes and then restart it.
i searched youtube for my pump specifically and found this video that helped.
