Stand alone pool lighting

Good Afternoon,

So I have a very large pool 20 x 40 40k gal but it has no in pool lighting whatsoever. Are any of the floating or submersible lights worth it? I see many options on amazon but they seem cheaply made and have mixed reviews. We have lots of lighting around the pool but it would be really nice to have the water lit up.

Thanks,

It depends on what you want.

Kim above a a party girl and she throws lights in her pool for fun. She buys at Wally World and understands it won't light up the pool but will create a party atmosphere. They can improve the look of the pool.

Generally none of the aftermarket pool lights that are battery powered are going to be much more than decoration in the long run. There are some corded models for above ground pools that seem to get good reviews. You need to be sure they are plugged into a GFCI protected outlet and are UL listed.
