Anyone have any info on these types of water features?

curious as to what might work best as a high/depth ratio for the steps to get the best effects?

also curious as to how they compare GPM wise a sheer descent type water feature?

I guess i could build out a prototype to test, but thought i'd ask here to see if anyone had done similar

Sheer Descents don't flow down the face of a surface.
If that is a kit, the flow requirements will be in the package. To get the effect that is in that picture would require a very large pump and plumbing or it would be a trickle. If that is a commercial property, it is likely fed by a 5 - 10 hp monster of a pump with at least 4" plumbing to keep the entire face covered with water.
Replaced one once, had to bring in a small lift and two other men to get the pump out of its sump and then the new one back in. Weighed 800 pounds, all bronze pump. Hayward now makes a 5.5hp, 4" plumbed pump that weighs much less, but your wallet would be much lighter as well. (About $7000.00)
