Stair railing

Hello is it ok to leave the railing for the built in steps in the anchors over a NY winter? Cover would slip under the railing. Thinking the less I have to remove and put back in will extend the life of the anchors in the pavers.
The pool ladder in the deep end I would still remove as it would interfere with the cover

Since your cover will slip under, I don't see why. But let's bump this question to try and encourage a few more replies from others in your area who may deal with the same issue.
