Stains at bottom of pool

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone might know what those stains are at the bottom of the pool (concrete) and if it's a cause for concern. Unfortunately, I can't inspect it more closely since I won't be moving into this home for a little bit, and this photo is all I have. Many thanks!

Hard to tell. Since I suspect the pool was recently opened from its winter slumber, it may just be organic staining. But once you move in, we can walk you through a few common DIY tests to make sure. In the meantime, be sure to have your TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit at home and ready. You'll need that for sure. Don't rely on store testing or guess strips. Both will fail you.
