Hi there! I would like to stack 2 stock tanks! Has anyone ever done this before? I would sink the first one, cut the bottoms out of the second one and then weld them together. Or bond them together. I have never had a pool before and I want to make it a hybrid pool and hottub. I’ll build a half deck around it and a privacy fence/perhaps pergola. Any tips or suggestions?

Interesting idea. Have you given any thought as to how to drain it?
cheap sump pump would work fine.

interesting idea, be sure to take and post construction pix. I wonder if a piece of culvert at whatever diameter and length with a concrete bottom would be easier? I have no idea. it would be sturdier. cutting for plumbing would be easier on the stock tanks for sure.

Are you planning on using a liner?

How do you propose to make it a hybrid pool/hot tub. Are you talking just installing a heater?

Be absolutely sure that there is a GFCI in the pump and heater circuits and that the tanks are bonded to the ground circuit of the electrical as an all metal pool can be lethal if there is ever a problem.
